12 Agile Principles (part 2)- from the Agile Manifesto Needs an Update- Change my Mind Webinar

This session intends to be an interactive exploration into the following statement – The Agile Manifesto needs an update. We will explore this statement as a group and the attendees will be asked to ‘Change my mind’. We will ask ourselves some potentially uncomfortable questions around the values and principles therein and whether they are fit for purpose in 2020. We will explore the facts behind the manifesto, some of the antipatterns we observe, what others in the agile community are saying about it, and lastly, whether there are any alternatives.

As an outcome from this session, it is hoped that people are able to engage in healthy debate around the subject, and hopefully both learn & enjoy the experience.

About Christopher Stone:

For eight years now I’ve been fostering an environment for the success of high-performing teams and organizations through agility. I’ve worked across a wide range of industries and with some of the largest organizations in the world, as well as with smaller, more lean enterprises. As The Virtual Agile coach, I intend to enable frictionless innovation, regardless of location. I’m therefore a firm believer in enabling agility whilst working virtually. I am constantly challenging the status quo, being a ‘pirate’, and rebelling for good cause and in topics, I’m passionate about. I look forwards to meeting and learning from you.
